SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Health and Wellness Expo set for May 25 | Community

The public is invited to attend a Health and Wellness Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 25 at The Dale Association, 33 Ontario St. The expo will include vendor tables, free health screenings, raffle, giveaways, bag lunch sale and special guest speakers. 

The event’s guest speakers and their topics include:

• “Tools to Sharpen Your Brain” by Susan Mason, PhD – 10:15 a.m.

• “Tai Chi for Your Health” by Roger Schneider, MD – 10:45 a.m.

• “A Pharmacist’s Best Advice” by Steve Giroux, R.Ph – 11:15 a.m.

• “My PLATE5 Meal Planning” by Maria Guarino, RDN, CDN – 11:45 a.m.

Walk-ins are welcome for free screenings in bone density, cholesterol, body mass index, blood pressure, pulse oxygen, fall risk screenings, hearing screenings and vision screenings. 

Additionally, free memory screenings will be offered. Appointments are encouraged, as walk-ins will be accommodated for a memory screening based on open appointments. Please call 433-1886 to schedule your memory screening appointment.
