Try something new and give yourself a “spring tune-up” at the Good Living Senior Center’s Annual Wellness Expo. This popular event takes place on Saturday, May 6, at the St. Johnsbury House, 1207 Main Street, St. Johnsbury.
From 9 a.m. to noon there will be group sessions of Pilates with Heide Cotte and Yoga with Dean Cocoran. From 1 to 4 there will be private 20 minute sessions that include: Reflexology with Diane Willson; Kinesiology with Janet Heartson; Chiropractic with Teri Dodge; Massage with Marybeth Anderson, Tamara Peters and Darcie Shedd; Reiki with Vicki Moore, Jenn Florio and Gail Brown; Dream Interpretation with Laura Smith; Essential Oils with Lyn Cooper.
There are many not-so-well known healing modalities available in the Northeast Kingdom. This Expo will be a opportunity to learn about them and sample a treatment session. Unique healing techniques can help to awaken our body’s self-healing energies and restore balance to our overall wellbeing.
A number of long-time health practitioners will be donating their time and expertise for the Wellness Expo, a fundraiser for the Good Living Senior Center. All proceeds go to benefit the Good Living Senior Center and all the good work it does for area seniors. There is a cost. Pre-registration is strongly advised as spaces are limited. For registration or information, call Amanda Weisenfeld at 802-748-3189.
