SHREVEPORT, La. – Hundreds of people from the three-state area spent part of their Saturday at the Ark-La-Tex Health and Wellness Expo at the Shreveport Convention Center.
Sponsored by KTAL-NBC6 and Fit for Life, a local non-profit focused on a healthy lifestyle for infants to seniors, the free event showcased many local resources available for health and wellness.
More than 80 businesses and non-profits were represented at the event, and keynote speakers throughout the day spoke on a variety of topics that included
The expo showcased many of the ways to achieve fitness, healthy diet, nutrition, and more
With more than eighty vendors in the Convention center, people were able to participate in free workout classes, health lectures on weight loss, clean food and metabolic syndrome.
Vendors offered different services for skin care, vitamin supplements, nutrition, and dental care for children.
Physicians in the expo taught visitors everything from skin care and to explaining a new way to look for healthy deficiencies by doing a blood and hair analysis.
